Compassionate Presence

Compassionate Presence

We all need guidance and support through life's big moments and arguably, death is the biggest moment of all. As an End of Life Guide, I provide comfort and support, helping navigate the dying process as a grounded presence.

I can also help friends, family and community understand what's happening along the way, giving them the confidence to be fully present and supportive.

Some of the Ways An End of Life Guide Serves

Simply being present for whatever is needed or arises

Offering the dying person an opportunity to explore the meaning of their life and their impact on others

Preparing for the last days by creating a plan for how the dying space looks and feels; the music or sounds; readings and rituals, and much more

Explaining the signs and symptoms of the dying process as they occur, thereby helping to reduce fear for those in support and caregiving

Processing the emotions and experiences with family after the person has died and guiding them in their early grief

In addition, End of Life Guides can help identify and connect a variety of resources and help facilitate or assist with post-death care.
